about
Press release notes
In the beginning, there was sound. From the bustling streets of Minneapolis to the vibrant pulse of London's underground, The Arches "Mind the Platform" embarks on a musical journey that transcends boundaries.
The single artwork captures The Arches in a whimsical setting, a nod to the creative and sometimes surreal experiences that music can evoke. Accompanied by hip London foxes and their endearing Robot Shirley, the band stands poised on a boat, the iconic London skyline serving as a backdrop, symbolizing the adventure and movement that the song embodies.
The Arches are known for their ability to create soundscapes that are both reflective and revolutionary, and "Mind the Platform" is no exception. With this release, the band invites listeners to be present in the moment, to embrace the platform of now, and to let the music guide them through the storied underground scene of London, a city that never sleeps.
Murphy Spark's lead guitar riffs intertwine with Nina Blade's rhythmic basslines, while Nova Williams' chords offer a harmonic foundation that anchors the track. Jessica Fury's dynamic percussion breathes life into the melody.
"Mind the Platform" is available for streaming and download on all major music platforms, including Bandcamp, Spotify, and Amazon Music.
