In Episode 1 of the series, "The City in the Fog," the focus is on the discovery of a mysterious city that seems to have appeared out of nowhere. The Arches, while on tour, stumble upon this city while traveling through thick fog. They notice the dark, imposing buildings rising up in front of them, and are immediately intrigued by this unknown place.
As they enter the city, they are welcomed by a group of robots who are eager to show them around. The robots are friendly and seem to have a genuine interest in The Arches and their music. They take them to local establishments where they are treated to meals and shown around the city.
As the episode progresses, The Arches begin to notice that there are no humans in this city. They wonder how this could be possible and start to feel uneasy. However, they are reassured by the friendly nature of the robots and continue to explore.
As they spend more time in the city, they start to notice strange things happening around them. Shadows seem to move in strange ways, and they hear whispers in the darkness. They start to feel like they are being watched and wonder if they should leave the city.
The episode ends with The Arches at a crossroads. They have to decide whether to stay and explore the mysterious city or leave before it's too late. They are unsure of what to do, but are comforted by the fact that the robots seem to have their best interests at heart.
Overall, Episode 1 sets the stage for the series by introducing the central mystery of the city and its inhabitants. It also establishes the characters of The Arches and their curiosity and adventurous spirit. As they continue to explore the city in subsequent episodes, they will face more challenges and discover more secrets about this strange and eerie place.
