A Soundtrack to "Psychedelic Kandiland", a movie that takes place in the early 1990s in a small Southern Minnesota town. Miko recently moved to Preston Hills, MN and has struggled to fit in. A sleepy little town on the surface, the younger generation have a vibrant culture all their own. Billy and Nick have lived here their whole lives and are the center of the music and party scene. When Miko tries to fit in and socialize with the locals, she undergoes a transformation from her former shy self. Experimenting with Neo-psychedelia,Dream Pop and Shoegaze music styles, she is no longer hindered by the oppressive voices in her head from the cruel Aunt who raised her in Russia. Miko transforms the local choir of St. Agnus Church and begins a psychedelic musical journey that transforms the attitude of the whole town.
Billy and Nick have to either make room for Miko’s new found strength or go to battle with her over their perceived territory. The final scene is the town talent show where Miko shows up with the St. Agnus Church Choir and rocks the community into a new musical era.
